Warpspeed Y Pipe or Budget Y Pipe?

IM soon gonna get a Y Pipe, But I need to know specific details on these Pieces.

Most say there is a "Bees in a Can Sound"? Exactly how does that sound? Does it sound like them Ricy Hondaz with Exhaust's? Or just Like the sound of Cans hitting The Concret Contiounesly?

I have an Exhaust tip on my car, and It has a Deep Low Tone to it! But I do want that Tone Notched up and I want it to be a bit louder? Will a Y Pipe Make this louder? Or will it make it turn to an annoying sound? My main question is if I already have a certain sound on the car, will adding a Y Pipe make that same exact sound, Louder? Or will it change the sound completley?

Im looking to get a Warpspeed Y Pipe? Any Suggestions?

Thanx, Nick

Bees in the can is annoying. I had it on my first Y-pipe. You can only hear it with the windows down, but it gets on your nerves quick.

I'm pretty sure Warpspeed hasn't had any bees in the can noise for a really long time. It's worth the few extra dollars to avoid that sound.

I've got a budget. No noise, no problems, had it for over a year now. If you've got money to throw away on the exact same product, get a WSP. If not .....

Hmm ...
Budget: Non-mandrel bent, Aluminized Steel
Approx $185

WSP: Non-mandrel bent, Aluminized Steel, lined flex (no bees in the can)
$195

How is greatly reducing the bees in the can a waste of money for $10?

OK, fair enough.

So did the prices go up? They should update the site since most people get their info from there. So what do they Now have available? I heard that they now have Mandrel bent pipes, but only made a few.

Last time I checked, Budget would give you a Y-pipe for $250 CANADIAN Installed. With current exchange as crazy as it is, that goes to $160. $35 savings there. I've heard stuff about WSP having bees in a can sound too. I have the Budget, and I'm telling you there is no bees, no can, and the only sound is a deeper exhaust note.

It's stainless steel too.

I'm coming to Canada, I'd be a millionaire.

Actually I was planning to visit Toronto sometime before the end of the year, so I'll get to see what it's like for myself

what's the difference between a mandrel bent y-pipe and ones that's not? price? Since I'm low on funds, whats the best choice? Also, I live in AL so will rust not really be a problem when deciding on S-steel or A-Steel?
Thanks for any help,
Jeff Catt

Mandrel bending allows for more/better air flow. Non-mandrel or crimp bending reduces the area within the bends which reduces flow, esentially decreasing performance.

And in AL, get whatever since you don't have salt/snow/ice it won't matter much.

Which one do you have? Mandrel or non mandrel, cause that's exactly what I want!
