got some body work and oil ?'s

I want to take off my max emblems on my trunk( I have a 96 so they are the big spaced ones ) and was wondering what is the best method to take them off and not have these sticky looking marks from where they used to be. Also I am going to be changing my oil for my first time and was curious as to which type of oil is best to use for the max. I got about 130k miles and drive pretty hard. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks
Brandon

most people would flame you for not searching...blah de blah you'll learn that. anyway, the best method to remove those is to take a hairdryer/heat gun and heat up the emblems. take fishing line and saw them off...presto there gone. then take goo gone and using some elbow grease (it takes quite a bit) take off the left over goop. then claybar and wax the spot. there may be some discoloration, but it will fade eventually. im not sure about the oil...ive always used 5w30.

some guys with dark cars in hot areas just leave their cars out in the sun for a few hours and that seems to work as well as the hair dryer
