question for all the "juicy boosters"

my nos will be in today. i know there are a few people here running nos + sc but i'm not sure who you are. what shot did everyone start out with and what are you spraying now? what are your settings for the S-AFC? i'm running 2% lean across the board right now but shouldn't i richen it up a bit when i'm spraying? i'll be running the 1 step colder plugs... are there any advantages of going to 2 steps colder? thanks for any help.

You could run a 25hp jet with out too much extra fuel. With the 40 I add at most ~15% fuel with my AFC. The only way to properly tune this is on a dyno with wide band O2. I run juice only, no dry kit, no wet fogger. I add the fuel with the AFC. By doing it on a dyno you can ease up to a good safe level. Start with a non nitrous run, then add 5% on the AFC abd do another pull. You will see on the wide band O2 read out where the extra fuel comes in and at what RPM the injectors are at 100% because no matter how much you increase the AFC setting above that RPM point it wont go any richer. This point is the point you should stop spraying with your window switch. Once that is set start adding the juice in small steps, like 10hp jet increases, until you start to get too lean. I stoped at a 40hp shot because that was pleanty for me on a 3.125 pulley, with a smaller pulley you should be able to add allot more.

Don't you mean a LARGER pulley?

Less boost, means more fuel available for nitrous, right?

Good catch, yes a larger pulley.
