bosh planitum spark plugs for max?

i just put in the bosh platinym +4 spark plugs in my 95 max , but heard afterwards that it might cause harm to my car because its not ngk, i spent alot of money on them and the car starts up better than before , i want to know if anyone has used different spark plug brands for their max and if they ever got long term problems from it ,
should i leave the bosh plugs in or should i change it to ngk??

thanks for any help

It wont hurt your car. But, they also will not perform as well or last as long as the OEM NGKs.

I've had my bosh +4's for about 20k miles so far and they have worked great. You shouldn't have any problems with them.

I put in a set of Bosch Platinum 4's at 98,766 miles. I never had a problem with them - the car ran smooth and didn't lose any power. If anything it gained power, but that sometimes happens with new plugs anyway simply because they are fresher and the others were worn.
I replaced them with another set of the same plugs at 146,735 miles. At that many miles they still looked like they were burning clean, but I wanted to do them anyway. I have 153,340 miles on the car today and still have no complaints. I still routinely get between 26mpg and 33mpg on every tank of gas, and the car is still smooth and powerful.

I was surprised at the number of people on the .ORG who have said they have had problems with these spark plugs. I don't think there's anything to be worried about.

For some they work, for others.....

Such as my friends 98 I30 which completely distroyed a set of Bosch plugs in just under 12K miles. There was no electrode left when we took them back out. Our first clues that something was wrong were hard starts and a sudden drop in MPG.
