I recently found out that Trans-go makes a shift kit for the Max. It is very involved and is a full valve body reworking. I have successfully installed a Trans-go shift kit in a Ford AOD(5.0) trans. and was pleased and surprised with the gain. It was tedious work installing it, though. Has anyone else put one of these kits in your Max.? How was the gain?(E/T drop?) Ease of installation? Looking for some experienced feedback. Thanks!

I found em for $50.00 in Houston and at that price, I'm going to pick one up this weekend, and install it as soon as the weather warms up.

That sounds like quite a deal. Any ideas on how complicated the install is on that?

Steve I just read your website... sounds like it was a good mod. How much did Chuck charge for the whole thing...the Trans-go kit and install? I e-mailed Chuck but I figure I would ask you too.... Thanks
