Next week i am planning on getting a Cat back, high flower muffler and CAI, is there anything that i need to know before i go into it, will i have to do any adjusting of my CPU? or are they all just bolt on and go type things?

Can i do the CAI myself??

Unplug the battery.

Leave it unplugged for a couple hours so the computer will reset itself. This way it'll have a fresh start on reading the new parts.

High flower muffler? Is that some kind of hippy thing? j/k

Yes, like the other mods you listed, you can install the CAI yourself. Install is not tough. Just make sure you have a hole cutter or some sort of tool that will cut metal. A helping hand is always good too, but not required.

I have had various intakes and exhaust systems installed, removed, and installed again. Some times I would unplug the battery in order to reset ECU, other times I would not. Some installs were quick and I didn't want to wait a couple of hours for ECU reset. I never noticed any differences between a so called reset ECU and a non-reset ECU. I guess if you are going to be longer than 2 hours with install, you might as well unplug the battery just to be safe.

Good luck and have fun!

have you purchased the cat yet?

If you haven't, there is a group deal going on at Random Tech High Flow Cat Group Buy

Greg has some nice pics of install and does a great job showing what parts (w/ part numbers) you will need

Greg's cat install directions

There are some other helpful pages on Greg's site, check 'em out.
