knock sensor does it again

Well as you guys may remember I ran a 15.5 1/4 mile and was dynoing at 151 hp. I finally replaced the knock sensor and went to the dyno. 176.6 baby! Going to the 1/4 next week. If i ran a 15.5 with 20 less HP, couldnt I be in the mid 14's now?

You should definately be able to hit 14s with your mods and your newly found 20 horses. Good luck.

My knock sensor code came up and i have noticed a loss in mileage and performance....Where can i get the best price for a new knock sensor for my 95....I've heard that this might be a ghost code also and i was wondering how many of you have had the knock sensor code come up and replaced just the knock sensor and notice a re-gain in performance/gas mileage

MANY people have had the knock sensor code including myself. The people that changed theirs have posted nothing but good things including significant performance increases. Mine should be here Friday Cheapest place I know of is Nissan of Scottsdale. Mention your a Maxima.Org member and receive 25% off! I buy all my parts through them. Their information is in the links section.

I thought I had KS probs but Ive started running 91 octane and since my car has picked it up big time! That 87 just wasnt cutting it even at 5000 feet. So 91 it is for me now!
