2000 Infiniti I30 wheels

Hey guys,

I am not new to Nissan Maximas, but I am to this forum. I just bought a set of Polished Infiniti I30 wheels(17x7.5) and am gonna put them on my car. I have a 99 Stirling Mist Maxima SE. I have tinted windows, Optidrive 100 amp with JL Audio sub box with 2-10's and a box style K&N air filter. I don't want to add a muffler or anything, but I would like to get some better headlight bulbs and yellow foglight bulbs. Can anyone recommend a good set for both and let me know how you like the Infiniti wheels?

Thanks,

Matt

oh man you stole my idia, i had the same plan to get the same wheels, but then i realized i cant afford to get the tires for them, so i went with 240sx rims which are the same design, but in 16". And as far as looks i think that the thick 5 spoke design is one of the nicest looking out there. I hope you get the rims so that i can see how they look on a Sterling Mist Max, i gotz the same

Thanks for the compliments.

The maxima is my daily driver, as I am gonna buy a Toyota Supra N/A and put a turbo on it. That is why all show and no go for me.

As soon as I get the wheels, I am gonna polish them and save some money for tires, probably 235/45/17 Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712's. I will post pics on my webpage when I get them on.

Where is the best place to get Piaa superwhites and Ion Crystal fog bulbs for the maxima? Options auto salon?

Thanks,

Matt

You do know that putting turbos in a NA Supra will not make it a TT supra. Just get a TT supra and change the turbos, trust me...

I want to save on insurance for one and I have seen several single turbo supras run low 12's to high 11's.

There's a lot more difference between a NA Supra and a TT than just the turbos: pistons, injectors, entire exhaust, etc, etc. You have no idea what you're getting into.

PS - All those single turbo Supras started life as TTs.

Don't worry, I plan on doing plenty of research before I do it. I already know a couple of people that have done this.

What brand of tire did you go with? I am either gonna go with 235/45/17 or 215/50/17, cause there are better choices with those sizes.

Since you're going with 17x7, you should go with 225 or 215/50-17. 235/45-17 isn't recommended, though many people have done it.

Re: I hear ya

Guys,

I sent the money out on Saturday. I hope I have the wheels by this weekend, so I will polish them an store them till I save some money for tires. I just had my 60k mile service and I dropped a bunch of cash on that too. Will post pics on my website when I get some.
