I still have my OE 95 GLE wheels on my Max. The more I see them the more I like them.
I really hated them at 1st. I just cant decide on what to get when I HAVE TO replace the tires and this is coming up fast. Prob late fall early winter.

I am down to two styles I like best, hard choice, big investment.

I think the cleaner look of the Moda R6 is winning me over and the finish is brighter, more chrome like, I like that to go along with the chrome on the GLE door handles and window surrounds. And the price is very similar $199 vs $189 each for 17's.

 

ya those expensive wheels, bet they werent to far from mine bc of the extra $$ for chrome, i still think u need a stock spoiler

 

I say get them second ones, there hot!

 

I'm holding out for Shadow's Type II... but yeah I know what you mean, the Maxima just doens't look sporty without it.

That's what 18" Evos look like on a BlaXXXima. Sorry, no drop yet... but you can see what they look like.

I think there is a guy on here with Moda R6s on a red Max. Looks realllll nice as well.

i too have honeycomb rims. i often complain about them and say i'm not a fan, but they really aren't too horrible and are better than having hubs. sometimes they look nice but i'd really like to upgrade....but poor old college kids can't afford rims when they have other things to tend to first. hopefully i can do something about these one of these days but...what are ya gonna do.

 

I like my stock 16" SE rims

 

Stock SE rims are nicer then the GLE's

true the Honey combs do look better than those I30 rims you have. The Honeycombs are better than those things NIssan put on the 85 and 86 MAxima

 

I would rather have pepboys hubcaps than those honeycombs....they are the ugliest things nissan has ever put on a car! The i30 wheels aren't great, but they do look better than those cheesy honeycombs!

Just say the word and I'll trade ya my stock 96 GXE wheels (the fugly black things) and 10-spoke wheelcovers. It's all relative, I would be happy to upgrade to OEM SE or GLE rims if I had the money . . . and so many people are complaining about those!

Lol, but the 85-86 Maxima rims are worse, way worse, the worst!

Aren't those honeycomb rims like really lightweight? Other than the performance aspect they are pretty fugly... I want to get some rims also, but i'd much rather spend my $$$ on intake/y-pipe first...

I just sold my Racing Harts C2 to my friend. So i have to decided on a new set of rims. Maybe upsize to a 19" rims. I'm thinking of the OZ superleggera 19x8.

 

What kind of rims are those BajaPanty_96SE has? Are they the ZEO BZ-11

 

recently i've grown to like the Moda R6s. The Millie Miglias are hot too but the R6s are such a plain design, yet giving you some aftermarket look at the same time. I'd go for those and one day i will

 

i have the honeycombs. i hated them at first, and to this day i would still like to get new ones but they are rather expensive and i would rather buy some performance stuff for my car instead. honeycombs definatly make your car look like a sleeper and they are very light weight. but the first chance (or good price i get) they are gone
