hello fellow org members got a 96 max and everyonce in a while when i start it makes a really loud grinding noise. been goin on for over 2yrs. other than that no problems can anyone help or had this prob.

Might be the starter noise that many of us have experienced. You can either get a new starter or try to clean and lube up the innards yourself. Do a search, there is a lot on this.
