Has anyone tried it w/ the stock intake? I'm wondering if since the pop chargers really help in the high end but sacrafice a little in the low end; would putting the stock intake w/ the VI be the best of both worlds? You'd have the low end torque back and the car should breath better in the high end once the VI opens. I'm gonna try it when I get mine but has anyone given this any thought? THanks.

I don't believe there would be any benefit. The more air you can flow up top the better, putting a stock intake back on would be negating the entire purpose of the VI, high end power. There have been tests done with VI+JWT and VI+ Hybrid intake, the hybrid intake helped out high end power. Meaning the more air you can flow the better. Stock airbox would be a waste.

Not that I believe all this "JWT POP loses low end power" BS, but even on the off chance that it did lose like 3 ft-lb at 1500 RPM, who cares? The benefits far outweigh any drawbacks, if the drawbacks even exist.
