Mass Airflow sensor HELP!!!!! Car Broke

I think the mass Airflow sensor is bad i dont know. When i went to go install a Weapon R intake tonight I had all the stuff hooked up lines and stuff and when i turned it on the thing would not idle at all it would just stall. But then when i disconnected the mass Airflow sensor plug the car would idle great I tought it was fixed and all but then the car would not go over 2k Rpms the car would kick back down to 1000 rpms. Like an speed limiter, i could not get the car over 2k rpms. Is my mass AirFlow sensor bad and if it is how much do one of those cost. Also my cel came on. I need help so i can figure out what to go buy at my Nissan Dealership tmw. Please help guys im stumpted and ****ed.

Check your instalation. No lose or forgotten hoses? Plug in your MAF and reset your ECU.

ECU

If you still have problems you can test your MAF with a volt meter, but don't worry about how to do that just yet.

MAF's aren't that expensive if you outta warranty.. I got one replaced on a 5thGen for $69 brand new. Your 4thGen should be a lil cheaper.. You don't have any air leaks or anything like that right?
