ok about three months ago my check engine came on when i left the car parked ideling, about two days later it went off then a couple days or about a week later it came on again and stayed on, so i took it to the dealer they told me that the coil went out, so they replaced it. three or four days later it came on again and i was going to take it to the shop, but the brakes were starting to grind. i replaced the brakes tonight and drove down to the store and left the car running the check engine light went off and stayed off all night. it will usally come on when i leave it running while i go into a store. could this just be lucky or would it have something to do with the brakes. if not what would you think was wrong with my car. please let me know.
