Weighed My car at the track tonight

I couldn't beleive my eyes when i went to weigh my 99 autotragic gxe. came in at 2895 lbs without me in the car. the car had about a half tank of gas, rear seat removed, front seat removed and spare/jack removed. On another good note i ran a new best of 16.4 at 5800 ft. The bad side is that My freakn VI is still not working when the car is in gear, it works when i test the car in neutral but for some odd reason it won't work any other time than that. Its really startn to **** me off.

yeah I would like to see your 60 foot times and your final MPH

I know 5800 feet did not help, but 16.4 seems to high

Ya man not even the 5-speed max's with bolt on run that fast up here, and last night the best a 5-speed ran was a 15.9 with lightned flywheel, y-pipe, CAI, catback, and UD pulley, so i think my 16.4 isn't that bad considering. now if i can just get my VI working. remember altitude makes a huge difference.

But here is my time slip #'s for ya
temp was 60, baro pressure was 23.38 track also was a little slick due to the rain a couple hours earlier. and actual track height is 5830 ft. Bandimere raceway, Colorado
60'- 2.534
330- 7.042
1/8- 10.698
mph- 67.19
1000- 13.824
1/4- 16.484
mph- 84.52

Yeah, your 60' time sucks, but 16.4 is a very good time for an auto at Bandi. Bandi is typically 1.2-1.4 seconds slower than a track at 500 ft. With a decent 60' time at a track not in the mountains, you would be in 14s for sure. Good job.

As for your VI problem: You may have a problem with your vacuum tank. When you just rev the engine in neutral, you get good vacuum. But at WOT, there is no vacuum. That's why you have the tank...
