For a 99 5spd, how do i get the best gas mileage??
what rpms are the best for mileage? im guessing in 5th gear...
i usually shift at 2.5k-3k rpms
and i rip it every once in a while...

 

Of course we all rip it occasionally, but when I am trying to save cash(college student) I usually shift at 2800 in first and 2500 2nd-5th, which means I cruise at ~2000rpm at 48mph. I get my best gas milage this way as any other car would, but with plenty of go . BTW, I usually give 1/4 to 1/3 throttle....just my info to let u know.
