I was at the gas station this afternoon, and when I started my car to leave, the key would not turn in the ignition, and I couldnt get the key out of the ignition either.....I kept trying and trying and trying, then finally i gave it my all and turned it as hard as i could and the thing started. has anyone ever had this problem with their max before?

When this happens turn your steering wheel and the key will turn. It's a common problem with Nissans.

 

Its not a problem, its a feature. The steering wheel locks for security when you turn off the car and take the key out. You'll feel it lock if you try to turn the steering wheel.
