How do I even a drop?
How do I even a drop?
I know its not that easy with springs, and I have tried searching but people complain about it, and I haven't found a thread that helps me solve the problem, I have sprint springs, and I was wondering if anyone new how to even a drop without cutting, do they make clamps or something? My back sits about an inch higher then my front...
Get back to me
Thanks

Did you just get the springs? Drive the car a little more and the springs should settle.
And put in a full tank of gas to add another 100 pounds to the rear.
And as the rear settles, the front end will raise up in proportion.
So really you only have to figure out a way to get the rear down a half inch.

I have had my springs for about a year now, and there pretty much settled, yes i herd when i convert to a 5 speed it will rase my front up...and it should be even with the back witch is good news...the thing is, i like the way my front looks...i don't want that to go higher, just the back lower, maybe my best is to go with coil overs?

I have Sprints, cut one coil off the back and my drop is flawless. Why are you so against cutting your Sprints?
All these suggestions for more weight, subs, gas, etc. are only going to make you slower and empty your wallet. Cut a coil off the rears and you'll love it. It's easy...

I've had my sprints on for about 3 months now, and you can def tell the front sits lower than the back and i have a 5 speed. At 1st it wasn't so noticable but it just seems the front keeps settling and the rear isn't lol, i really don't mind it, kinda gives the car a more agressive stance and i really don't have to worry bout bottoming out the back if i ever put 3 large adults in the back. But i would say it might look a lil better if the car was totally even, right now its about a 2 finger gap in the front and 4 finger gap i the rear

You not going to listen to everything people say are you? I had two coils cut from the rear Sprints and I still haven't had a problem with them. I do have Koni struts though. If you do cut, I suggest you cut one coil only though.
The only way that I know of to have an even drop is to get coilovers or cut your springs. If you don't want to/don't like to cut your springs, then you got to live with the uneveness.

alot of people have opinions alot of people dont cut their springs bcuz "IS NOT SAFE" is like this FCk what others say if you have to cut a rear coil to make your car look good and you be happy then do it!!!when you walk up to your car it is very satisfying to see what you like!!!
ONE more thing whomever flames me can kiss my azzzzznnn tired of fckers posting girlie B/S dont do this bcuz this and that, the man wants help he wants his ride to look right and tight doesnt want that retarded drop!!!lets help him out here!!! if you dont want to cut invest in coilovers!!!
cut springs
I would agree w/ you guys and say there is no harm from one, or even two cut coils. However, I want the maximum performance out of my springs, and am wondering if cutting one coil decreases performance a little, or if it mite even increase it. I have no idea here, and am wondering what the answer is?

Cut the coil from the top and enjoy your level ride, looks much better than the so-called aggressive stance of the back being higher.

So when you cut one of the "dead" coils in the back to even the drop, do you cut the top ones (more stiffer ones) or the bottom ones?
