Need Help Please

I'm having alot of trouble with my car starting. It acts like it is flooded, or has some type of leaky injector. It back fires through the intake and the exhaust as I try to turn it over. It starts after about 5-6 trys and still acts like it wants to cut of, like it is flooded. Once I get going, it starts to fall on its face and takes for ever to take off. Its like I have no torque!! NOw, after a while of driving it is fine. If the car is still hot and I go to start it, it doesn't give me as much trouble. I ran a small test on it to measure the fuel pressure and when ignition is on it hits up to 40 and immediatly falls all the way down to like 15 and stays. It doesn't hold any fuel pressure. Has anyone else had this problem??? Please tell me you have and help!! Should I just try to get a new pressure regulator and go from there??? Any help will be great, thanks, my car is sick!

Yup, try a new FPR and see where that goes. Or try bringing up some ecu codes also.

Do you happin to know any company that makes an aftermarket FPR for the max?? I checked AEM, Holley, Stillen doesn't have one, and a couple other places. All of them are for Honda/Acura. My regulator looks similar to a Honda one. Will this fit??? Or will I just have to get a new one from Nissan??? Thanks.
