Dying maxima

Hi guys dunno if I posted this yet but I guess I'll try again. My car has a new problem and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix it. My car now is going through a period in it's life where it likes to die after awhile. the rpms will drop, then go back up again, then drop until it finally dies. any ideas guys??
