CAI Question

I'm considering getting a CAI for my 99 SE. The only problem is i'm worried that my max will become a gas hog. Does anyone know if a CAI will do that?

If your car does become a gas hog, it will be b/c of you, not the CAI. All the CAI and any other intake does is free up the airflow into the engine, so the car can drive more economically than stock.

In other words, resist the temtaption to floor it just to hear the beautiful waling sound of the CAI

$0

Well ... maybe $20 ... for the drill bit. But you could probably find someone in your area that has a drill and a drill bit.

yea, trust me, its easy to install, one of the easier things because its right there. The hardest part is fitting it all in. But no matter how strenuous it may feel, know that it is SUPPOSED to fit some how so it will. The hardest part actually is getting all the stock airbox crap out...but once that's free, u are smooth sailing....
