has anybody heard any latest news on the 4th gen frankencar intakes? i ordered mine like a month and a half ago and still haven't got it. I heard that they were going to ship them out last friday, but i'm wondering if there was any truth behind that statement. I've emailed them quite a few times with no responses and i understand that they are busy, i'm just asking if anyone has heard any latest news

 

Steve told me the same thing. He seems honest, so just be patient. Trust me, cuz I've been waiting a half month longer than you

I can see that you're also upset and you have a right to be. I have been dealing online for a few years now, with over 50 recorded transactions on ebay alone, and this one has been my least favorite.

no one is saying he isn't. i'm not calling him out or saying that he's a fraud. I'm trying to let people know that if they want a frankencar intake they will have to wait. and wait. and wait. If I knew that it would take this long I would have ordered a FLP intake, but since I decided to go with Steve because of his great rep here at the .org I might as well stick with it. expecially 'cause i've been waithing for a while.

I don't think we have any other choices but to wait. I asked for a refund two weeks ago, and you guessed it -- no response.

 

Just hang in there guys. I think Steve should hire some help to get these things on the road. Heck, I'd be will to help him to keep you guys happy.

 

I also ordered an intake for my 4th gen about a month ago in August and has yet to get it. I contacted Steve many times and got a reply that it was out of stock. Just today 9/03 I contacted Matt and he told me it will most likely be shipped by this thursday. I hope so too so I hope this help everyone else.

 

I ordered mine back in mid-August......I really don't care about the color and he said that they had some blue ones.........I said sign me up!

The main reason why I was going with this intake was the APEXI filter!

 

christ, he said friday of last week on wednesday. enough, i'm not reading a single frankencar thread until I get mine... this is making me so antsy

 

The sad part is that even if we wanted to help we wouldn't be able to because there is no physical address.

 

I talked to steve on IM about 2 days ago...he said probably 2 weeks because they were on back order.

I see. So that must be why he told me to come by to a shopping center's parking lot (I live in MASS also) to install the intake for me after I had paid through paypal, but he never showed up. He later sent an email to say that he was sorry. Still no intake or refund.

 

dammmmmit! first I'm too late to bid on my skyline wheels and now this. what a sh!tty day.

 

2 months - 2 days and still no intake ....

I've waited exactly 2 months now as well. I thought this would be my first mod lol. Dammit, I also thought I would have it to boot around in the summer, so I ordered it and didn't want to wait for the group deal. Now I think I should have waited and saved some $ too!!!

 

Yeah, Ive waited for about 2 months now also. But Ive talked to Steve on AIM. He said hes currently workin on them, and everyone who is waiting for it wont be disapointed. I trust him, hes a straight forward guy. So I cant wait for mine to come, im sure its not gonna be to long now!
