Question about speaker size...

What size speakers will go into my '97 GXE? I'm looking at some 6 1/2" Alpines. Will they fit into the stock openings or am I gonna have to break out the sawzaw? Thanks!

Most 6.5" speakers will fit without much work at all. At the worst, go get yourself a thin sheet of MDF, cut out a mounting plate, silicone the plate to the stock plastic mount (cut off the half baffle), and screw the speaker into the MDF, or even silicone it.
