Clear Spoiler LED Idea For OEM Spoilers

Well, I happen to have a aftermarket spoiler where I was able to find a clear spoiler led to fit perfectly (http://www.electrodyne.cc/Merchant2...ode=555111CLEAR), I've been getting so many emails about where to get one for the OEM Nissan spoiler. I believe its very hard to find one and may be impossible. Well, the other day I was opening the trunk by the spoiler holding it by the spoiler led (bad move) and it snapped at the screwtabs. I was planning on just buying another clear spoiler led until I thought about it, and decided to hold off on getting another one until I find any problems with the leds shorting out. So in the meantime, I have a thin layer of 3m double-sided tape holding it very strongly in place. I thought about it, and I believe my clear spoiler led can fit in the OEM spoiler since its the same length, its just the screw tabs that are in the way of placement. I assume that if you snap off the 4 screw tabs on the clear led you could possibly wire it up and fit it in place. I don't want to be held responsible for anyone messing up their spoiler or leds, but its just something that came to mind since I get a lot of emails about clearing the OEM spoiler led. Let me know what you guys think.
