Who has a Remus?

My friend just installed a remus exhaust on his 99 G20t. That thing is tight!! I went to the remus site and found that they made one for our maximas, does anyone have one? He said he gained lowend and high end. You don't hear it inside the car but the sound outside is nice.

Sounds very quiet, but still has a slight deepness to it. It does not in any way have that "bees in a can" sound. Looks good too!

Yes it was a direct bolt on.

some random max owner rolled into our last meet, saw the 40 or so max's. he had a Remus single tip muffler on custom piping. It sounded great, and looked really nice, sort of like the Apexi WS... not stock, but not huge either. it was a deep tone, like most BMWs with exhaust sound like. if i were to do a muffler, id go with the Remus now. however im selling my car in the spring

Expect to pay in the close to $400 range. The website is:

http://www.cecwheels.com/tuners/inde...st&brand=remus

If you do end up interested in one, let me know. I should be able to help you out with the price, as I deal with CEC direct.

Don,

Thanks for the address and help in advance if I do decide to get a Remus. $400 isn't that bad at all, just a tad more than Stillen SS. I just wish there is an actual pic of the muffler. Do you know for a 99 SE-L, will it be a single tip or dual? Or is that an option? I only see only one part number when I did the whole part search.

i tried to go onto their website(remus.at), but it took forever to select the car to look at exhausts. i have a cable connection, so it should have just loaded right away. did anyone else have this problem, and does anyone else sell the remus?

Really? Didn't know that!

Yeah, I thought some of the language looked familiar but wasn't sure if there is such language as Austrian... so Austria...figure Austrian would be a safe bet... Oops!
