Stupid Nissan, Need Help!

Ok, I've had a Frakencar intake on my 95 max for about 2 1/2 months now. I brought my car to Nissan to be serviced. I get it back, and my engine light is on. I pop the hood, and see my intake ready to fall off. I push it back on, and re-screw it. The light is still on. So i brought it back to nissan, they hook the computer up, and it says that it's not reading the air temp.

Now i don't know how everyone else put theirs on, but there was no connection for the air temp plug on the intake. I don't think this was the real prob because the light was never on before. It only came on after i got it back from nissan

Any help or suggestions would be very helpful! Thanks.

Reset the light and make sure your sensors are all plugged in.

Alot of of people just leave in connected where it was before, in the plastice tubing coming from the front of the hood. I wanted to plug mine in too, the Stillen intake I got came with the hole, but there is no way the wire from the sensor is long enough to reach. Anyone with something similar come up with a good solution?

i say do another ECU test yourself. If it keeps giving these codes for air temp sensor, they might have damaged it. I dont' know how. Maybe when trying to pull of your intake they pulled it too hard and damaged connections? but that might be the problem and i would yell at them and see if they can replace it for u...if possible

what i did was just take the piece that the sensor plugs into out of the plastic hood scoop, and hten just plugged in the sensor, and then tied it down to whatever....well my friend didnt plug it in all the way (if you want **** done right gotta do it yourself), so well CEL came on, and of course it was the air intake sensor....so i just check it, and of course it wasnt plugged inall the way, i just plugged it in, and then reset the ecu, and its all good now
