didn't they change the exhaust a little bit and they are the last models of the 4th gen. i'm sure they have other lil stuff different too. maybe nissan just wanted to sell as many of the 4th gens as possible while new ones were rolling out?

NO, SE-L's can be "plane jane" if you wanna call it that. I have seen one after the other and there all different.many different colors. but 99 se-l is the year of the"bright red one". some cloth seats. some leather. only thing different that i have noticed.
1.titanium wheels
2.titanium gauges
3.se-l badgeing floormats
4.se in the seats on leather models
5."MAXIMA" on the trunk is titanium color\
6.se-l badges on the doors

maybe others but thats all i can think of.

That's correct, there are some so called "Limited" with just cloth seats or not-so loaded

As for the special edition stuff, I think you are right on above.

Tifosi
p.s. Either way, I'm fortunate enough to have a fully loaded 5-spd

All SE-Ls have a spoiler.
Not positive, but pretty sure all have moonroof too.

Yeah, guess not that either!

Yeah, I guess beside the LSD part, I'm fully loaded.... My tranny is RS5F50A....oops. So to my understanding... V is LSD, A is not, right?

hey, I just bought an SE-L myself...does the difference in exhaust mean that aftermarket exhausts or y-pipes that would fit on other 99's won't fit on the 99.5? If so, what year would fit? Sorry, I'm still trying to get all my facts strait about nissan.... Thanks.
