300zx Brake Conversion

Hey Guys,

Anyone know if the 5th gen SE wheels (the 6 spoke ones (17x7) off of the 2002 model) will work with the 300zx brakes??

Thanks

I would ask Y2KevSE. He's got 3Z's on his 5th gen and might know if there are fittment issues with the 6 spoke 17's.

i do not think the off set of those rims will be enough to clear the calipers

It's not the offest. It's the width that's the problem.

Update...

Just got the calipers..They will NOT fit unless I get like 1" spacer and extended studs. The offset of the 5th gen rims wont cut it.

Thanks for the info though...

For great prices on remanufactured 3Z calipers, goto: www.srswap.com . That's where I got my whole package from. Just remember one thing when getting the SS lines, order the 240 conversion lines. They are longer and will fit the Max without having to get the hardline from the strut that the 3Z's have. Hope this helps ya.
