RT Cat not working?

I have done tons of emmisions repairs and after all that, the shop thinks that the RT cat which is less than a year old is not being effiecient. Has anyone ever heard of problems with the RT Cats?

some ppl here had problems with the rt cat. thats why we stopped selling them and started selling the carsound cat. i never got a carsound cat back yet, on the rt cat it looks like they last for 2years at the most.

i woud take it off and send it back to see if they would send you a new one.

I was told that coolant really destroys the cat and o2 sensors. This is true for my brother's 94 BMW 3.28is. I doubt that this is the case for you, but you can have a muffler shop test and examine the cat...usually about $30.
