163,000 miles and climbing..
Bought her brand new in August of 95 with 14 miles on her. I have 2 leaks now that I need to find and fix (antifreeze [I think it's the hose and not the radiator] and my clutch fluid).
New starter, new alternator, new brakes, broken attenna, and scatches and door dings! But I love the car, honestly I do! I think I have to replace the Tranny seal/sensor also, but I am still riding on the original clutch with 164,000 miles. I am even shocked!!!!!!!!

I just got done fixing a clutch leak on my 95SE. It was a really slow bleed-through on the lower part of the upper clutch line. It was alot like you bleed when you skin your knee - a slow ooze. Definitely it was a defect. The dealer was a real @sshole about it. They tried to tell me I needed both lines and the slave cylinder too. Then they reused the brass washers/seals that connect the upper and lower clutch lines which created a second leak. I finally did it my self. So check the brass seals too (they are attached as a pair - like 2 washers attached by a bridge). Make sure you check both. When I read your post I thought it could be the same as what I experienced. Hope this helps.

what is this recall? we have a 95 SE in the household and i was wondering if i did not have to pay for the rear O2 sensor that went bad. the dealer denies such a recall. the warranty is long gone however, but any info is helpful. i'm definately calling that 800 number now.

The recall would have happened a long time,
ago when the car was brand new,if it did not brake when the car only had a few miles on it then most likely your car was not recalled, the recall only I believe it only effected 95's that were produced between a few months then the short after the problem was addressed and fixed by Nissan. Also It was only 1 or 2 o2 sensors that were at fault not all the O2 sensors,Anywase give them a call and see what they say.
124k miles
Yep, over 70kmiles in the last 2 yrs. Bought it at 52k+ miles in Novmeber 98, it is November 2000, and it is 124k+ miles. Hmmm... I drive alot, even to friends house down the street. Probably will sell to a friend when the newly redesigned Maxi comes out and with 3.5L 260hp engine in it.
