cigarette lighter fuse

cigarette lighter fuse

hey guys
im new to the org and recently purchased a 98 se with 36k
however my cig lighter does not work....i think it may be a blown fuse
where is the fuse box located?

thanks
i tried searching but got no where

look where your left knee is, it's right there, I just discovered the same thing, it just stopped working, so let me know which fuse it is if you find it

Actually, I'm not sure here, but I believe it's in a little box actually inside the console. On my wife's Max (yes, we each have one) her brother had taken the console off to do something (I can't remember what now, radio stuff I think) and he blew that fuse. We never fixed it and it's something I need to take care of (just bought fuses yesterday). Why it's there I have no idea. You have to pop off the console piece around the shifter and there's a little fuse in a box behind the cig lighter I believe. Now I'm doing this all from memory of the console being off 4 months ago. If I'm wrong, please someone else post so I don't tear off her console piece for no reason .

i recently replaced mine...it was a 15 in the fuse box located to the left and below the steering wheel(near your left knee like he said before).
