Yes you should get alignment done, without it, it will cause excessive wear on your tires, My alignment was off on my old car and I let it go for like 4 months and was driving one night, bye bye tire.

Madmax, what's "imput"? Did you miss that one Professor ptato, or you just figured the run-on was the bigger mistake and stuck with that?

Madmax, we're not criticizing your English because we give a sh|t about you... we're doing it because there was literally only one person on this entire board who friggin' understood that the he|| you were asking! You're lowering the overall English Quotient on Maxima.org. So go take a *REAL* English class because your first two were surely taught by the "English-challenged Professors of America".

give the guy a break, he is probably excited.
Sil - Thanks for the comment, although I'm not sure if it was a sarcastic remark or a good one either way thanks. I try to answer from my own encounters with things (this being a pretty major one since the tire basically blew up while I was going 40 in traffic)I still know nothing about cars, but every now and again I pull **** outta my rear.

(side note)<Gen2 CF Altezzas have been shipped, expect pictures soon!>

Are you asking if it's safe to redline w/o an alignment?

As the son of a professor who teaches people how to teach english
I find it difficult to read the posts of many of the .ORG members. I guess I was taught that in order to succeed in life, good grammar is key.
The number of times I have to read: " I was driving along and I seen this guy..."

That one drives me friggin bananas. It's "I SAW" damnit!!!!!

I won't pick on our buddy Mmmmmax, as I realize he's been harrassed enough, but it's a general observation on this board.

I think this points to a serious lack of proper education in our countries (Canada and the U.S.). And the fact that our parents aren't correcting us is a cause for concern as well.

Just my rant of the day. Please, learn to speak and spell properly. It benefits you in so many more ways than just getting posts answered on the .ORG.

Yours Truly

Mike

i agree that people should type correctly spelled words (to the best of their ability) and try to go easy on the stuff like "hey wut do u think iz the best springz 4 me 2 get?"

it just makes it easier for everyone.
but honestly, i dont think its funny either when everyone starts to gang up on people. maybe the moderators should step in to eliminate that kind of stuff before the server really gets bogged down, which it still does from time to time.

When one asks for FREE advice purely out of the courtesy of others, I think the least that person should do is make a decent attempt at good grammar.

If that person doesn't have the time to write a question that has at least decent grammer, why in the hell should I take my time to reply?

At least I know what you actually mean here. But have you actually read the name of this thread? I actually had to read it twice and think for a moment before I had any idea what it meant.

My theory is that "realine" is his way of spelling "realign."

But, there's no telling.

Stop for a second
Ok you guys are getting way to carried away here. The title looks like it does because I tried to fit what I needed to say in the little space they give you, so people would look and try to help. Yea yea about good grammar...I see where your comming from but gees does it mentally drain you that much ? If so you need help, cause it's not that hard just sound stuff out. And realine is it spose to be re-aline help me out here not redline christ. Ya know that thing you do after you get suspension done. I just feel bad for some of you guys who waste your poor lives complaining about my grammar. Now go on critic this passage too...blah blah blah

oooh thanks for clearing that up man- i get you. yes its align but "aline" saves you one character if youre trying to save space.

"After car was droped didnt realine cause would dent rims is it safe to drive without"

"just lowered-couldnt align b/c of rims. safety problems?"
that would be shorter. sorry i jus had to do that to see if i could make it shorter, i see it was difficult for you to fit it

Usually we let grammar and spelling slide. The problem with your posts in this thread has been that the grammar and spelling were so far off that no one could understand what you were trying to ask. A better title would have been "Question about alignment after lowering." This particular subject has been discussed very frequently, so you could have found many answers very quickly by using the search function. However, since you do no know how to spell "alignment" or "realign" searching would be difficult, if not toally futile. These are just two quick reasons why proper spelling and grammar are important in life.

Hey MadMax - don't let this jade you. We're not all crusty b@st@rds. We'll all try to help you because that's what this forum is supposed to exist to do. A place for questions to be asked, and hopefully answers to be provided, free of malicious intent.

Sometimes we just like to poke fun. If I knew the answer to your question, I would have given it to you, or pointed you to the "search" function.

Either way, we'll stop picking on you (provided you do some remedial english courses). Good luck with the wheels / alignment

Mike
