Need pics of 16 * 8 rim on a maxima/preferebly lowered ..
If anyone has pics of their's or someone elses car with 16" rims by 8 width please post them or tell me how it looks. Im looking to fill in the gap between the fenders because my 16*7 are too skinny even with 225 rubber. I have a 2inch drop. Thank you very much.

It does. Cause it comes out a bit and becomes closer to the top portion of the fender. This kid i know had 225-55-16 with stock rims and he looked lowered but he wasnt. His rubber was bulging out like crazy and gave an affect of a lowered car.

That's because of the higher aspect ratio. 225/55/16 is taller than 225/50/16.

The width doesn't really matter though. Get some tires that are 215/70/16. That will fill the gap. Your speedo is gona be off if you try and fill the gap with weird sized tires.

225/55/16 are taller than yours..
that is the stock sidewall height.
That will fill the fender better.. but the tire will look more beefy.
You need 17s
get rid of those 16s

Why would you spend money on a new set of rims only to get 16's?? The only real way to get rid of wheel gap is with springs/coilovers. Dont mess around with tire sizes, its gonna look retarded

just want to say that..
even if you get 8" wide rims... dont think the rim will look like it's sticking out more...
the offset has more to do with that then how wide your rims are....
if you have a smaller offset, the rim will look like its sticking out of the fender more... that rim might even be 5" wide.. but if the offset is like 34, it will stick out more than an 8" wide 45 offset rim.
be careful man
i would still go for some damn 17s.. no point in upgrading from 16s to 16s.... just a waste of money for doing nothing
if you want them to stick out of the fenders more... go to Pepboys and buy some spacers.... 10$ and your rims will stick out as much as you want them to.
