I'm guessing the RE950s will win this poll.

Yeah, the RE950 is the best rated H-rated High Performance All Season (HPAS) tire that Tirerack carries. Just in case you want Ultra High Performance All Seasons (UHPAS) from Tirerack, they rate the Dunlop SP5000 # 1 with the BFGoodrich g-force T/A KDWS a close second.

I am running Dunlop SP 5000s. I got the "V" rated tire for about $72.00 each. IMO they are an excellent wet and dry tire. They are about the same price as the Bridgestones but aren't the Bridgstones
"H" rated tires? I am running Dunlop D60A2s on my Honda and they are also very good tires, wear like iron! OEM Firestones were shot after 25k, after 20k on the D60A2s I would estimate at least 60% of tread left. My experience with these 2 Dunlop tires is excellent, great price performance. Hope this helps.

The Bridgestones will be better in the snow because there (H) rated instead of (W) rated. They will probably have similar wet performance.

P.S I've worked at a tire/rim shop for three years so I have some experience with tires.

I've had experience with all the tires mentioned in this thread so far. You really can't go wrong with any of them, so shop for price between the three choices (RE950, AVS db, SP5000). From my experience, they all deliver great dry and wet weather traction. I think the AVSdb and RE950 will have better treadlife than the SP5000's though, but that's only from my experience.

No personal experience with the Bridgestones but judging from peoples feedback.. they are definately some of the best all season tires period.

What size rims are you planning on putting these things on?

either way
go with the REs...

my brother has those yokohamas on his car.. they are pretty good as well, although i find the sidewall a bit soft at times.

Also,
Look into Dunlop Sport A2s as someone mentioned..
great tires

What is a "W" rated tire? Never heard of it!

click & scroll down for tire speed ratings

Pasted from Tirerack:
When Z-speed rated tires were first introduced, they were thought to reflect the highest speed rating that would ever be required. Since that time the automotive industry has found it necessary to add W- and Y-speed ratings (indicated in the tire’s service description) to identify the tires that meet the needs of new vehicles that have extremely high, top speed capabilities.

Miles/Hour Kilometers/Hour
P225/50ZR16 149+ 240+
P225/50ZR16 91W 168 270
P225/50ZR16 91Y 186 300

While all Z-speed rated tires are capable of speeds of 149 mph and above, prior to the W- and Y-speed ratings were identified in the service, how far above 149 mph was not identified.
