taking a modded car into dealership

if i have my dealership change my oil for me (they gimme like coupons for $20 every time i need one), and i have an intake and y pipe, will that cause any problems? my warranty is already over i think.

Not for an oil change.

I think it's only bad when you want to get something repaired under warranty, so they'll blame the problem w/ the aftermarket stuff and so the warranty is void because of that.

if you still have a warranty I would not do it. Your giving them ammuntion for the future

If your warranty is over do it

go for it. you drive a 95. you most likely don't have a warranty anymore. even if you bought the car used from them, warranty is probably up

I've heard the "burden-of-proof" lays with them. They can't just indiscriminately walk away from a warranty obligation without giving a full & proper explanation to you first.

Alright, I should've put "full & proper" in quotes in my original post as it would be subjective. On the other hand, the dealership would have to provide some justification for their position in declaring the mod voids the warranty on whatever has been affected. Like they've got to state cause/effect so that it makes some sense.
