Got 2k...what to buy?...kinda long, sorry
Ok, here's the deal. Got a little bonus, and I want to mod my 97 Max SE. I have been reading and watching this forum like a bible. Here's the order of what I want to do:
1. Exhaust system
2. Drop car
3. Body Kit
I am going to get a CAI but not sure which one would be best. I have read a ton of posts and everyone seems to praise what they have.
I have been reading about the Y-Pipes, B-Pipes, mufflers.

I want a nice sound (deep) but not bee-in-a-can civic or ear-bleeding loud. And I don't want to spend top $ if I don't have to. My car is up for inspection and I want to pass it before I mod. Any thoughts?
My mechanic keeps telling me that dropping the car will make it ride horrid, bouncing like an old Olds. My buddy dropped his Acura and his car bounces horrid when he his a pebble. Are there any that will make it ride like stock? If I replace the springs, should I do the shocks too? (80k on the car) Any thoughts?
