Question For Anyone Who Has Painted Their Dash
Question For Anyone Who Has Painted Their Dash
I have tan leather seats with a brown dash, i was wondering if anyone has painted their brown dash black , if so how does the black dash look with the tan leather seats?
also When painting the dash , can you paint your steering wheel, shifter, arm rest with the same paint?
Can I even paint the steering wheel, shifter, if i can will it fade or wear from use?
Whats a good combination of paint to use , 4 coats? clear coat? primer?
thank you anyone for your info and interest

I remember seeing one guy on here that did it. Turned out pretty good in his pics. I believe it was a maroon colour (not sure of the name, sorry) max with the tan interior, stillen front lip and the rest of the sarona kit w/ a mesh grille if that helps. I forgot his username
My neighbour painted the interior of his black Jetta with Foliatec. I think it's got a leathery texture to it & looked good. Look at their website www.foliatec.de to see if there are more details on the product.

I think there is spray for the steering wheel. You might want to check out Foliatec's products through their website. It's a pretty personal thing a to whether you'd want to do that or not. Happy modding!
damn you did so much work to your car
, it must sound so beutiful in there, nice job, nice car
have you noticed any sighns of fading in the dash, steering wheel, shifter, arm rest?
did you have to remove the steering wheel to paint?
Was there any parts that you had to remove so its easier to paint?
did you leave your dash in the car and paint from there
thanks everyone fro responding
Also How do you guys think it will look if I paint my brown dash black
How do you think that would look with the black dash and tan leather seats, please give opinion, or should i just leave it black
