What kind of a-hole steals valve caps?

Seriously......first someone steals the nice chrome valve caps that came with my Konig Zeiges, then I buy these cool anodized blue ones to match the lettering and centercaps on my rims, and THOSE get stolen. What kind of cheap, low budget, scumbag MF'er would do that? I swear - you can't have anything nice in Philly without some jerkoff vandalizing it or stealing it. Next time I'm buying the plastic cheapies.

yeah man, can you believe some people, some people on here get the nice caps and thent take pliers and put them on there so no hand can unscrew them, just make sure to carry around some pliers in your car if you need to get to the valves.

yeah, that's happened to me too. I just went to autozone and bought some "lock-tite", it sealed those babies right up. Usually it's little kids on bikes that steal them, and use them for their bikes...

this has happened to me also. The nice metal caps that came with my rims were stolen within a few days...and I live in what was rated as the safest city in the US (theft, violent crime, etc)!! Then, i acquired plastic caps, and those too were stolen. Presently, I do not even bother to keep caps on my stems. I wish i could have caught the person who stole mine...the theif would feel SO low trying to steal someone's caps.

Yeah stinks to get your nice things stolen, but when you buy expensive valve stem caps, you can pretty much expect some lowlife to gaff it. Good luck.

the same kind of a-hole that...

stuck a gum on my rear quarter panel (by the fuel door). I left my car out for an hour yesterday (instead of parking her in the garage) and this is what happens.

That is about as low as stealing a year tag/sticker off of a license plate...which happened to me years ago. It was quite pathetic.

Ditto I had one of my Konig Reign Center caps stolen, I know they were stolen because it's hard as hell just to get them off and on. IF the guy comes around again I'm going to introduce him to *** full of hurt with Mr. Mini 14.

I had two of mine stolen two weeks ago. Now I feel like a moron looking at all these little kids bikes so that I know who did it. When I find out I'm taking his whole damn bike to the police station and having them lock it up as evidence.

yar, that sucks.
Locktite sounds like a good idea
[as long as you don't get any inside the stem]
But how do you get them off?

Also, ne1 know a source for black caps[metal - not plastic]?
TIA

Man!!!it seems like we all have had bad experiences with pety thieves, people just have to steal what every they can,I guess they can't afford to buy their own parts. They love denting our cars, I guess they get a thrill out of denting a nice car without any dents or even srcatching the paint our cars. You can't have any peace no matter which way you turn!!! It's just messed up!!!!
