I've hear bad things about those bras. Go to custommaxima.com and click exterior parts section. they sell a a hard plexi glass type material visor, that suppose to protect you hood from rock and pebble.. And it will look good on your car..

Also, soft hood bras absorb laser/radar waves from cops due to their color (dark) and their soft texture. They can give you the extra second required to slow down when yo usee a cop.

Nore- Did you get my PM this morning?

www.JCWhitney.com

Made by LeBra (Saddleman), it runs $79 shipped. Good quality, but will sag with time.

The site is...

www.1988calledtheywanttheirexteriormodback.com or

www.fadedpaintin90daysorless.com just joking

Bra looks much better on a darker colored MAXIMAS.

Post a Wanted Ad in the WTB/FS forums. I got a whole set for around $40 shipped, and that was buying the pieces separately from two different sellers. the lower piece was brand knew. I never knew the car looked so good with one on reminds me of a ninja or something

My bra is a factory Nissan part. I would recommend getting this one only because of the fit. 95-96 is different than 97-99.....

You can get them at http://www.nissan-accessories.com/

Yes. Not GREATLY so, but they help somewhat. I read about it in a Car Audio magazine a few years ago. It is just like ruunning ni the daytime w/ headlights and foglights on. Headlights and foglights,. though in different ranges of the light spectrum, still put off just enough of the light in the ranges used by laser speed-tracking devices to confuse them for 50-100 feet.

The idea of the bra and dark color helping is physics. Radar and laser work by sending a signal out and measurign the return time (or the transit time, for radar). Dark colors absorb light better than light colors, thus reflecting less back to the laser gun, making the signal weaker and harder for the gun to read. The non-glossy finish also reflects less light than a glossy one. Lastly, the soft surface of the bra absorbs radar waves and bounces less back to the gun.
