I bought some CLR cleaner and i want to wash out the interior of my headlight housing. My question is will it damage the chrome lining inside in any way? Is it better to use something a little less corrosive such as orange clean or something? I have a 1996 maxima so i am assuming the headlight lenses are made of glass.
Has anybody done this before? How did it work out? Thanks

 

well on a 96 max you wont even be able to see the inside of your lense so why bother?? Unless you did the 97/99 headlight conversion?

I bother to remove the discoloration inside the actual lense in order to make it clearer white. In order to make it look like new again.
