Extreme Weather Nitrous users

i live in the North East, Buffalo, NY. In the winter time, we usually seee temps of 15-30 degrees. in the summer, it gets as high as mid-90's. I was wondering what everyone does in these situations if they are using nitrous. Is the bottle safe in the trunk, with the high temps? Won't the pressure get too high in the bottle due to summertime heat? What about the cold? in winter, just wait until bottle warmer has bottle up to appropriate pressure before spraying? Thanks in advance for all your help.

you won't get optimum bottle pressure when it's real cold out, until your bottle warmer heats it up. During the summer time and hot temps, you should be fine.

I was wondering the same thing. I live in conditions which are around 100 F most of the year and up to 110 in the summer. What will this do to a NOS bottle sitting in the trunk all day in the heat? Im thinking I'll take the bottle out for regular days....

I would just keep an eye on it.. I know NOS bottles come with the pressure gauge on it,.. so on a really hot day just keep checkin the gauge to make sure you don't exceed 1300psi i think.

but in my opinion it would have to be reeeeally hot in your trunk for it to explode.. i've seen the V8 guys at the track heatin their bottles with a damn blow torch; so no trunk can ever achieve that kind of temperature.

the only incident i've ever heard of a NOS bottle exploding was because some kid left his bottle heater on all night and unfortunately his emergency release valve didn't do what it's supposed to do.. BOOOOoom
