New Guy...

Greetings!

Newbie to the site...I've been driving a '95 SE (w/ everything) for about 2.5 yrs now and love it.

Just found the website...this is too cool! I've been looking for a Max forum for a while and just found this one!

I turn my own wrenches so I'm glad to have a new homepage where I can get input and feedback.

Anywho...

I've got some cash ($300) that I could drop on the max ...any suggestions? I'm not looking for a 1/4 miler...I want a car that turns on rails that I can autox in...

BTW: Everything is still Factory...only got 93k on it...hoping to get 293k...

Extended Life?

Suggestions for Oil & Filter? Been running Valvo-MaxLife (10-30 or 40) & Bosch OFilter...and I can't afford Mobil 1 synth (drats)

YIPPIEEEEE I've found a home

welcome!!

with $300 you should get yourself a front strut tower brace & rear sway bar. i dont know how you feel about cosmetics but the clear bumper lenses instead of the orange ones go over well here.

stickies at the top of the forums and search are your friend...use them often.

here are some links to some places you can get some parts...
www.custommaxima.com
www.southwestautoworks.com
www.eatricezone.com
www.stillen.com
www.cattman.com

just to name a few...there are more out there!

Welcome to the .org

There's an autocrossing forum if you want info on that, and searching will tell you everything you need to make it handle on rails.

$300? here's a great idea on what to do with it: give it to me. Trust me, you won't be the first to give me money, and certainly not the last!!! Ask anyone who's done it before, giving me money is the most gratifying experience of their lives. Also, appearently, the more money they give me, the better they feel. So don't delay, send me your money. ALL of it. And your car too. And your girlfriend, too.

Yeah, I felt the same way when I found this site about a year ago. Up till that point I was quite happy with my 95 SE. But the more I visited this site, the more I had an irresistable urge to spend money on my car! So I started with just some handling mods (like you) but it didn't take long to get into performance mods. Just an intake and a y-pipe, I told myself, and that'll be enough. But then I found an exhaust in the for sale forum, and a b-pipe on e-bay, and then I read Harold's website about the auto to manual tranny conversion, and then all the supercharger talk got my interest, and the variable intake and now there's a turbo kit............

STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY OR THE SAME WILL HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!!!!
