That is awesome! Pretty cool pic. The front grille sorta looks Volvo-like, with a Max's body and nice headlights. What's everyone's thoughts on the motor setup? Not that I'm dissatisfied with the VQ by any means.

In Korea, the Samsung Motor division bought the design of the previous generation Maxima to sell as their own. The catch is that the standard engine in that car is .... an SR20! So as it turns out; there are LOTS of these SR20 owners in Korea. Here is an example with a nice turbo kit. I think I am going to try and find out who makes that manifold here in Korea:

Doesn't that front end look a lot like a 5th gen front? It does to me. What body panels are shared? Looks like almost none, from that pic...
Pic I am referring to.

There was some discussion on this already, the general consensus was the tails would not fit american Maximas If anbody wanted to take a chance to find out for sure I would not discourage them though. Those tails would look sweet!!!!

Here's one thread, http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=117534 , I belive there are a couple more on this subject.

Somebody find out how much it would cost...I know a couple buddies on the org could put the money together if they wanted to test them out, that way if it doesnt work no one was out much $$$. Of course if they aren't expensive then one of us could just buy a set.

If they ended up fitting that would be a God-send!

There are prices in this thread -- http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=117534

$20 each for inners and $25 each for outers, or $90 for the complete set. If you only wanted to order one side for test fitting it would only cost $45 for both or $25 for just the outer. Of course shipping from Korea could be expensive, anyone have any idea how much?
