This is Hanabi HID 8000K!

Pix looks slightly bluer than actual light output.

Hello, guys!
Finally got the Hanabi 8000k installed on my max.
Sh*t! those things are bright but I think I need to adjust my lights to get the full benefit from my HID.
Hanabi 8000K wasnĄ¯t that deep deep blue as I expected or worried about.
ItĄ¯s just light blue color and I donĄ¯t think cops gonna mess with my lights.
Definitely, bluer than any Acura or Lexus.
After I installed my HID, I got high-beam indicator turned-on on my cluster.
HmmĄĻ anyone knows how to solve this problem?

P.S. Thanks Freddie for his help on installation.
Also, thanks Nick for great shipping and E-mails!

Those look really blue. Its kind of strange since most HIDs look green in pictures.

I've a good digital camera but if you look closely at the headlight assembly you'll notice the hint of green color.

Your right.

Don't you hate how your corners look puke yellow now.

Mine do too.

Yours look blue because you have blue film on your headlights. Or am I wrong?

there are three little holes to your stock harness switch the ones on the side and turn off your high beams. Example left outer side low beam ground, center power, right high beam ground. You grounded the little tips on the high beam thats why your high beam cluster is on. If you turn off your high beams you wont have no lights. Hope that helps.

check out the plug that conn to the factor plug. cut the white wire and tape it up. you have to do it to both sides.

the 7000k kit just came out today and i have a set on my car already. it is the same kit as the 8000k kit but with less blue (alot more white). alot of you guys are going to love the new 7000k kit.

i parked next to an is300 & a tl and blew them away. better color & brighter.

i was told that the 7000k kit is so good that we are not selling 6000k kits any more. we only have a few kits left. we have an order for 500 kits coming in this week and they are for 7000k & 8000k kits.

Philips does not make 8000k kits the highest kit they have is 6000k(actually 5800k), maybe you have 8000k bulbs with Philips ballasts.

I've Hyper-white bulb on my corners.
But to match the color with my hanabi 8000k, I used the blue tinting film on the side.

It took me 30 mins to get the right angle!
When taking pix of HID it's all about getting a right angle!
I'm going to upgrade my headlights with 97-99 style.
Anyone has more info to share? any pros and cons?

The lights look sick...i can't wait to get my 8000k this Friday hopefully since I sold my 6000k kit. How is the light output, considering the lights are really blue. Are they bright or somewhat dim. Also, did you get a chance to drive them in the rain.

Im really thinking about doing the 7000k kit and just getting 8000k bulbs at a later time....im worried about vision....the 6000k was really bright and white....dont want to lose to much visibility, nah mean!

u have a good point n the 6k with the brightness....

the 8k does slim off a bit on the rain ...

it lights up the road like u wouldnt believe... u got glare off each rain drop falling ...its amazing .....lolz

i might end up puttin the 8k in the fogs and get a set of 7k for the headlights...

This is my first HID so I can't really comment on 7000k vs 8000k.
BUT! I could tell you this! it looks much brighter than any Lexus or Acura!

I think my light output could be better with 97 headlights.
Anyways, it's still damn bright and blue and turn peoples head like a screwdriver.
