I just got mine today after about a week. The packaging is ghetto because they just bubble wrap the pipe and ship it out, but For 160, I am not complaning. I can't wait to install it this weekend

At Budget Exhaust. . .

I clicked on nissan maxima and all i saw was an "F" pipe. That really is the y pipe that everyone is talking about right? Also the cheapest one, that is like $275, is that an ok pipe to get? Would ireally see a performance difference with that pipe.

yeah that's the pipe. They are all the same performance wise, but the cheapest one is made of just Aluminized Steel so over time it would probably rust. On the other hand the more expensive ones are made of Stainless Steel which probably won't rust, and if it did it would take a long time. Y pipe does help performance gains by a lot, especially with a combo such as intake, race pipe or high flo cat, & cat back exhaust. That is where you feel the most gains. Dyno of Budget Y Pipe There's a dyno of the pipe.

They only sell SS mandrel bent Fpipes (ypipe) for 250Canadian, and after the conversion rate, it comes up to be $158.xx. Email them and tell them you want to order, and 6 days later, you will get your pipe. 3 hours after you get it, you'll be very happy with the gains and the mean sound.

does that price include shipping?
because thats like a 2hr drive from me, so i wouldn't mind picking it up and saving the shipping time/expenses.

I don't think that includes shipping. It might be just as cheap to get it shipped to you than to drive. But I'm not sure. email them and ask them.

is it possible for the pipe to get damaged if it's just bubble wraped or is the bubble wrap very protective (thick)?
and would budget be willing to replace it if it does get damage in the process of delivery?

does it get damaged? NO! but thats what i thought when i first saw it sitting on my doorstep. anyway, the only delicate part of the pipe is the flex section and it doesnt get damaged with the way that they wrap it, so its not a problem.

Do you mean that the thing just shows up to your door in bubble wrap? They don't even put it in a box?

i had to get a mechanic to put new bolts and nuts on because i couldnt get them off myself, they were too rusted on the catylic converter. it was like $30 or something. he wouldnt put it on (liability purposes of something like that) but fyi some shops wont do it because it removes the pre-cats. but after he put new nuts on the cat, it was like 2&1/2 hours worth of work, but it was fun AND worth it.

How are you guys getting the $158 price? The cheapest pipe they have on the site is $275 canadian, when converted to American is $178. I was using the .65 converter from the site.
Thanks,
Dan

If this is a speacial deal, how much could i get the polished Stainless steel one for?

just call them, i think the AS and SS are the same price. the .65 on the site doesnt take in account for the fluctuations in the money market. it will convert itself on your credit card statement.
