Should I Get a 2nd Car ??

I was thinking about getting a beater car maybe in the ($750-$1250) price range for school and skiing and all the extra milage I dont like putting on my Max...right now Im going to school 50 miles a day, 4 days a week so with all the extra miles Im putting close to 400 on a week....I figured it out and by the end of the 4 years at school, ILl have about 180K miles on my max, which isnt too bad, but its alot...I dont plan on selling it for alot and I know it will last, and I member someone saying miles are only good for resale...What do you think I should do ??
With the 1000$ for the car and the extra $800-1000 for insurance a year, that would pay for any repairs I need, if the tranny decides to **** out, and I can spend the extra on a quafie cause I know the engine it perfect...I think I just answerd my own question

give me some feedback

No need to get another car. If you take good care of the car you should be fine. As you said, the money you would spend on another car plus insurance you could use to repair the max. I have 185,000 miles btw and I've only begun to mod.

it's not a ferrari.. keep driving the max and mod it out with the $$ you were planning on buying a school beater. after you finish school take out a brand spanking new one out from your nearest dealer.
