Need Help, accident

hey im posting my first, but i was making a left turn into a parking space and a car comes into the oncoming lane(he was trying to cut me off or something like that)and hits the left corner of my car. Well my friend and I know him and he says he'll pay for it.
The damage is the corner light shattered, the turn signal doesnt work and below it some of my bumper got scratched and a piece cracked out. His friend (works at some bodyshop)says they'll try to hot glue, paint, buffer the bumper, and replace the lights or get me a new front kit, but the kit is some fiberglass one. My question is should i have them fix it, get fiberglass kit, or have them pay for stock bumper? How good is fiberglass compared to urathane?
thanks, Sa

fiberglass will crack more easily than urethane. I'd just tell them to get you a new stock bumper, or at least repair the old one so there's no visible damage.
