Tire/Rim Question?
Tire/Rim Question?
I have a 95 maxima GLE Will the bolt pattern fit if I get rims that have a bolt pattern of 5/114.3 & 5/120 with a 45mm offset? What should my bolt pattern and offset be so that it does not affect my speedometer?
I don't think your bolt patern will affct your speedometre...
our maxima have a 5x114.3 and any offset bettween 40 and 45 is good. the size of the overall diameter of your wheels(tires/rims) wll afect your speedometre.for example If you get 17'rims you need 235/45r17 tire....

Yes, the diameter of the tires govern your speedometer difference.
Depending on the width of your rim, 45mm offset IMO is a bit tucked in, but if you get 8 wide rims, you should be ok. My Enkei wheels are 18X7.5, with 38mm offset 235/40/18 and it's good, when I had 2K2 SE 17X7 rims with 40mm offset 225/50/17, it was a bit tucked in. I have both wheels pics in my homepage, you can take a look. You might think 2mm offset isn't a big difference, but with the different width of the rims, it's noticeable.
