Try www.jagworks.com or www.foreignpartsplace.com . They stock the same items but foreignparstplace is slightly cheaper. They have O2 sensors listed between $60 and $80.

I've dealt with them before, and they are excellent.

Not bad. The rear is the more expensive of the O2 sensors. Good prices there.

Bosch actually makes them originally and then Nisaan sells them as OE.

i hit these places every time i am buying something to check prices...

- thepartsbin.com
- expressautoparts.com (owned by same company as thepartsbin but prices vary between them)
- carparts.com
- autopartsgiant.com
- advance-auto.com
- autozone.com
- aaanissanparts.com (pinnicle nissan)

the first four are usually the best....the first two get a lot of my business....

on items under $50 you are probably going to do just as well at the local part stores because of shipping....over $50 or $75 most places ship free.

I think the two places I mentioned earlier, jagworks.com and foreignpartsplace.com, are also affiliated with thepartsbin and expressautoparts. I know they share the same inventory, because when you browse the sites it's the same stuff. When I ordered my brake discs from foreignpartsplace.com, my fronts came from Florida (where foreignpartsplace and jagworks are located), and the rears came from New Jersey (where thepartsbin is located).

Generally, from the little poking around that I did, foreignpartsplace is the cheapest of the four. They also have free shipping on orders over $50.

thanks for help guys, it looks like the best prices are at
http://www.oxygensensors.com/ for a WALKER brand $59.99

and Auto Parts GIANT.com for a BOSCH brand 64.99

has anyone heard of walker brand , do you think it would be good to get for the max, do different o2 brands make a difference
or should i just go for the bosch and be on the safe side

thanks everyone for all your help

i would be fairly sure that Bosch or NGK are the OEM for that part....I would guess the Walker is "Walker exhaust"...i am just guessing though. I would say AVOID SPLICING on a cheap sensor...flip the extra coin for one with the connector. My personal preference is Bosch....I bought a bosch for mine and it looked like it had a nissan logo stamped on it.

too bad O2 sensor is all you need...expressautoparts.com is $58...i bought a set of plugs and an O2 there..basicly got a set of plugs for like $6 when comparign to the others out there.

FYI: Bosch has a rebate going right now on platinum spark plugs...check their website for the form

I just bought mine from here :
http://catalog.eautopartscatalog.com...=Oxygen+Sensor

Price was not too bad. About $70. I think they were Bosch O2 sensors.

How can you tell if the OE length wire and cable connector are included or whether or not you have to splice a "universal" sensor to your existing harness. I definitely do not want to splice...

Also, any of you recommend outright replacing of your O2 sensors, not because they give you a CEL, but because they are old and "tired"... Anybody get better fuel mileage with new sensors vs. old (but working) sensors? I get 22-24mpg but I think I've always gotten that for city driving.

the description should say "splice" or "OE connector".....rest assured the $60 sensors have a connector...but if you see one for $40, you know it doesn't. My bosch was an exact match on wire length, connector and even had the little plastic clips on the wire for securing it to the same points as the original.

the heated O2 sensors (3 or 4 wires, like the maxima) have a life near 100K miles....if you are close to that it may be worth it to replace both of the front two.....some one on the forum told me the rear O2 sensor had no impact on the engine performance....i don't know for sure...but I know its the most expensive one of the three.....I'd wait to replace the rear sensor until it triggers the check engine light if it were my car.

the "improved mileage" propaganda applies to the unheated O2 sensors of the early 90's cars/trucks (those O2 sensors would only have two wires)...those would only last 30-40K as they would get deposits built up on them until the engine warmed up....the heated ones clean themselves.

wow...that got long in a hurry...sorry........John
