So have you transferred yout 5th Gen 17"s over yet? This time when you take a sig pic, try not to have a huge POLE in the middle of it. I used to laugh every time I saw that sig.

Glad to hear that you got the 97. Despite the miles, I thought that it was a better deal than the 95, only because, as it was pointed out in the other thread, there are a LOT of black Maximas running around, but the Rosewood color is rare enough to draw attention. Also, there are a few touches and conveniences in the 97 that the 95 lacks (like the console, canter bar on the grille, and the improved @$$-end and bumper.

Well, it is good to hear that you are finally back behind the wheel of a Maxima. Enjoy! BTW, I will PM you about the console around lunchtime...

hahah, thanks guys, the 2k1 rims will be going on in a few weeks, these hub caps aren't too bad right now , but i'll take pics of everything and this car looks awesome man, i just took it for a drive by myself and the growl, dam, i'm blessed....car feels better than my 95 and my pedal adjustment was real bad because this car is so much easier to drive....but i'm going to baby it too, no chirping or anything....atleast not yet

I can't believe it!

I'm still a little mad at Val for selling it.

Let me assure you, this guy took care of that car like nothing else.. I never saw it dirty in my life, if anything ever went wrong, he would get it fixed right away, I know it has a ****load of new stuff, from a tune up to suspension components.

Honestly, I was considering buying it from him myself when I was looking for a car.. but he didn't give a price like you got it for at that time! plus I still got my car cheaper but without any mods or options.. while his was fully loaded and had like 3k in mods and maintenance repairs..

I'm not just praising it because I know him...

very good buy man.. don't let those miles trouble you.. it's in in better condition than most cars with half it's milage.

i was anticipating the day he'd get some 17s..
but it never came

 

once i get new tires for my 2k1 rims, they are going on. And this car drives so well. Dam, i have never went past 3k rpm and this car just feels so fast...i think because its low or something but i'm loving it. I have a dam mp3 cd head unit i wanted to put in but because it has wood trim i think i may just sell it. I don't want to mess up the interior

OH AND 97 TRUNKS ARE A LOT BIGGER THAN 95's!!!!

I was going to battle Val for who has the most miles on a 97 5 spd, but now you have it.. i'm at 120k putting on 3-4k a month.. running like a champ.
