what to get for TUNE UP

what to get for TUNE UP

i need a tune up. what are the best parts for my baby. and is there anything else i should know to help my baby run good agian.

I assume you mean a 30-60-90K tune up? The major items I would include are:

Spark Plugs (NGK OEM)
Fuel FIlter
Trans. fluid change
PCV valve
Air Filter

and of course an oil change

do you recomend any specific brand names. and yea i have about 82K

I've always stuck with Nissan OEM parts. They are recommended by almost everyone on the board, and if you look in the right place, they aren't all that more expensive. One warning, the OEM platinum plugs are expensive, around $6 or $7 a piece = $35-45.

Check Courtesy Nissan's prices, they are usually pretty low.....www.courtesyparts.com

oopps, I just went back to find my receipt from when I bought them, and I paid close to $60 for the NGK plugs, form Courtesy Nissan.

but price doesnt really matter. as long as my car gets the best for the $$ its all good here!
